Glendale Blvd Parking Study - Information & call for volunteers
Glendale Blvd Parking Study
The Atwater Village Neighborhood Council (AVNC) is funding a “parking credit” study that will focus on commercial parking along Glendale Blvd.
We are currently looking for community volunteers to help with the study by providing guidance during the process. If you can help in this study, an effort that would most likely entail attending various meetings, please contact Luis Lopez at llopez@atwatervillage.org

We need you to come out to Community Day and tell us what you think and how to help you make life better in Atwater Village.
If you don't tell us, how will we know?
The day begins with a walk through the neighborhood at 9am with Councilman Garcetti and the festivities, food, and information will commence from there.
Councilman Garcetti will be there to talk to you the stakeholders of Atwater Village and hear your opinions and concerns about our neighborhood. You will not get a better opportunity to express your ideas and thoughts to local government than this.

MAY 7 WORKSHOP TO DISCUSS AND COMMENT ON CAMPAIGN FINANCE
Responding to a request sent to LA's 89 neighborhood councils by City Council President Eric Garcetti and the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment, neighborhood councils across the city are deciding to hold workshops to discuss and provide feedback on proposals to move the city's current 18-year old partial matching funds public financing system to full public funding systems that would give voters the option to vote for candidates who spent no private special interest money for their campaigns.
